Family Roots and Commitment to Community

Storro Excavating is a family-owned company deeply rooted in the local area, with multiple generations having been born and raised in the region. Their background in construction spans decades, with earlier generations building homes throughout the Northwest from the 1940s through the late 1970s. That legacy inspired the founding of the business in 1991, built on a vision of hard work, independence, and long-term service to the community.

Today, the company remains proudly family-operated, supported by decades of experience and a strong foundation of shared values. With a close-knit family at its core—including children, extended family, and the next generation—the business continues to carry forward a commitment to quality craftsmanship and dependable service. Their passion lies in helping property owners throughout Priest Lake and surrounding areas bring their vision to life, whether for full-time residences or cherished getaway properties.

While projects have taken them to nearby communities such as Sandpoint and Priest River, their primary focus remains on serving their home region. The company is fully licensed, bonded, and insured, offering a wide range of services, including:

  • Full complex septic system installations
  • Hauling sand, gravel, crushed rock, topsoil, and boulders
  • Land clearing and removal of hazardous trees
  • Excavation for basements and residential developments
  • Lowboy transport, road building, and rock retaining walls
  • And much more

Storro Excavating offers flexible payment options, including check, cash, and online invoicing. Credit card payments are accepted with a small processing fee, though alternative methods are encouraged.

Customer communication is a top priority, with availability extending day and night, including weekends, aside from major holidays. While team members may occasionally be out in the field or unavailable to answer immediately, all calls and messages are returned promptly. Text and email communication are also welcomed for convenience.
